O predavaču:
Zvonimir Ištvan rođen je 1966. godine u Koprivnici. Osnovnu školu završio je u Gornjoj Šumi i Molvama, a srednju ekonomsku u Koprivnici. Na Šumarskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu diplomirao je 1993. godine. Cijeli radni vijek radi u šumarstvu i lovstvu te je bio dugogodišnji upravitelj Šumarije Repaš s poznatim lovištem Repaš. Dugi niz godina bavi se fotografijom kao medijem umjetničkog izražavanja te je priredio više od 30 samostalnih izložbi u zemlji i inozemstvu. Istražuje i piše o povijesti kulturnog, društvenog i gospodarskog života užeg zavičaja te je s tom tematikom do sada izdao knjige: Glazbeni život Prekodravlja (2015.), Limena glazba DVD Molve (2015.), Bukevje, Povijest pridravskog sela kojeg više nema (2017.), Rodoslovlje obitelji Ištvan (2018.), 145 godina šumarstva Podravine i Prigorja (2019.), Šumarija Gola u Prekodravlju (2020.), DVD Gornja Šuma, 60 godišnjica djelovanja (2020.), Hrvatsko šumarsko društvo Ogranak Koprivnica 1956. – 2021. (2022.), Gornja Šuma (2022.) i Lovište Repaš (2023.). Kao koautor izdao je knjigu Prekodravke, žene u kulturnom životu Prekodravlja (2016.). Napisao je više desetaka znanstvenih i stručnih radova s istom tematikom, a uredio je i knjige: Moje Lebine Zdravka Belca (2020.), Životni put Josipa Žagara (2021.), KUD Molve, 1965 . – 2020. Mateja Ištvana (2021.), Ivo Matoničkin - Život i djelo Dražena Podravca (2025.) i Repaš Mateja Ištvana (2025.).
Slika jelena kojeg je Kogl odstrijelio 7. listopada 1899. godine u Repašu, rad je hrvatskog slikara Otona Ivekovića iz 1899. godine. Slika se čuva u prostorijama Hrvatskog društva za gajenje lova i ribarstva u Zagrebu.
